To help the French government dealing with current pandemic, the French Federation of Beauty Companies (FEBEA) will mobilise its members to start manufacturing Hydroalcoholic gels and roll out the products. This is in support of French Healthy Ministry’s decree for the authorised beauty product manufacturers to mass produce the gels as per formulas approved by the government.

This will help the healthcare sector to meet the shortage of sanitisers in the face of this COVID 19 crisis. While the manufacturers are already rolling out thousands of litres of the hydroalcoholic gel, concerns have been raised that the disinfectant quality of the products may not be up to the mark. However this has been de-bunked as an unfounded rumour and controversy by the French Cosmetics Association for SMEs COSMED.
